We have established five career steps in the business area and six in the technical area. Your professional and personal development determines on the pace you step up the career path. Your level of involvement and responsibility continuously adapts to your position.
Graduates with an HTL qualification from a technical college usually enter as Junior Software Engineers.
If you are a university graduate, you will generally join GTW as a Junior Consultant/Software Engineer.
Our mentoring system ensures that graduates with HTL qualifications from a technical school and those with university degrees are assisted right from the start by an experienced consultant. You can look forward to a comprehensive and exciting on-the-job training scheme, with close coaching from an experienced colleague.
Your mentor is responsible for your development and will be available to help with any questions and problems you may have. Thanks to this on-going process of experience exchange and knowledge transfer, each new recruit has the opportunity to learn from the best, and to build up a valuable store of know-how.
Once you have gained extensive project experience and are familiar with the business environment that GTW offers its clients, you will be responsible as a Consultant/Solution Architect for specific work packages and sub-projects within your area of responsibility – which will develop in line with your performance.
It is also possible to join GTW directly as a Consultant/Solution Architect if you have the relevant professional experience or can show that you possess equivalent skills.
As your professional experience grows, your duties will gradually increase in scope and you will move up to the level of Senior Consultant/Senior Solution Architect. Here, your responsibility ranges from large sub-projects to overall responsibility for an entire project and its personnel. This is how you can work your way up to leading a project team, step by step. Duties include providing assistance with customer acquisition and helping to develop new employees.
As a Manager, you will face new duties and challenges. In addition to leading project teams and extensive HR management duties, this career level also features greater acquisition activity on your own initiative.
In the role of Partner, you and other partners will work together to develop strategies, and you will handle new acquisitions independently. You will also have HR and team responsibilities, and will act as a project manager during the implementation and realization of GTW projects.
