First clients & employees
Individual performance was the key to success, with or without a big name in the business. Customers were convinced of the founders’ competences and first employees wanted to come aboard. 2003 GTW hired the fourth employee, about a year later there were more than ten. Today, some of these employees are in charge as managers at GTW. GTW kept hiring ever since.
The long standing business relationships with Swiss customers are fostered by GTW Management Consulting Schweiz since 2006.
Consulting & own tools
The GTW portfolio expanded and differentiated. The core business is still SAP consulting, mainly in SAP BRIM (now SAP Hybris Billing), SAP FI-CA, SAP RM-CA and SAP Convergent Invoicing. In addition to consulting, GTW also started offering products and tools, which allow e.g. to easily find duplicate entries in databases or to create SAP test data.
GTW managed to find their way during the economic crisis from 2007 to 2010 and emerged stronger than before. A year later, the company was back on the growth path. Today, GTW Management Consulting has about 30 employees.
Founded in a private home, the company moved due to its growth – after stop-overs in a Regus managed office and the first own office in Vienna’s 3rd district – into its current offices right across the Belvedere palace.
Today, GTW’s area of operations stretches from Greece to Iceland. GTW is thus a European company with Austrian roots. The client roster lists companies in more than fifteen countries – amongst others big names in the telecom industry, start-ups, road-pricing services, utility companies, insurance providers as well as transport and retail companies. The smallest client has about 200.000 customer data records to handle. GTW also handled complex projects for its largest client with a customer data set of about 60 million.
Growth & development
15 years after being founded, GTW is well positioned in the market and able to live a future-oriented hiring policy. For the future, the founders aim at healthy growth with development chances for employees and a good mix of steady and new clients.
