Shaping the future, experiencing team spirit
A quarter of a century of GTW – a milestone that we celebrated in a very special way in May 2025. To mark our 25th anniversary, the entire team traveled to Mallorca, or more precisely to Playa de Palma. For four days, colleagues from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland came together not only to look back on the past years, but above all to look ahead to the future together.
We found the perfect location at Iberostar Waves Bahía de Palma: modern rooms, stunning sea views, and culinary delights that spoiled us morning, noon, and night. But the focus was not on the beach and sunsets – it was on the future of GTW. In several intensive workshops, we worked together to develop ideas, discussed new approaches, and developed strategies for how we want to align our company in the coming years. A wide variety of perspectives came together – and that is exactly what made the discussions so valuable. Every contribution was heard, every thought had its place.
Of course, team spirit is also an essential part of such an event. To strengthen our cohesion, a special challenge awaited us: a city rally through Palma, where we had to solve a fictional criminal case in small groups. With creativity, logic, and a dose of humor, we quickly realized that cooperation and communication are just as important here as they are in our everyday work. Another highlight was our catamaran trip along the coast of Palma – with the sun on our faces, the wind in our hair, and plenty of time for personal conversations that often get neglected in everyday life.
In addition to the planned activities, there was plenty of time to bond as a team: evenings spent enjoying good food together, volleyball on the beach, and many small moments where we could simply chat away from the office. It was precisely this mix of focused work, team experiences, and a relaxed atmosphere that made the event so special.
Our conclusion: This anniversary was much more than a celebration. It was the starting point for the next 25 years of GTW—marked by courage, cooperation, and a clear vision of achieving even more together.
