Application
Send us your documents easily and without hassle. We’ll review your strengths and profile carefully – and together we’ll set the foundation for the journey ahead.
Virtual Interview
Once we’ve received your application, we’ll invite you to a first Microsoft Teams call. You’ll meet our recruiting team, learn more about GTW, and get the chance to ask your questions – so we can both get a first impression.
Teamlead Interview
Next, you’ll meet one or two of our team leads – to talk about both your expertise and you as a person. In-office or online via Microsoft Teams, this step gives you a first real glimpse into your future work environment.
Salary Negotiation
If the fit is right, we’ll discuss your compensation package. Together with our recruiting team, we’ll answer your questions, align on expectations, and agree on a transparent solution that works for both sides – the basis for a successful collaboration.
Meeting with Management
In the final step, you’ll meet one of our managing directors or partners – either in person at one of our offices or online via Microsoft Teams. This is your chance to experience GTW’s vision and culture first-hand and share your expectations directly with our leadership.
Grow Your Career in IT Consulting with GTW
At GTW, you can grow in five business career levels or six technical levels. Your personal and professional development sets the pace – with responsibilities and tasks expanding as you progress.
Graduates of a Higher Technical College (HTL) join GTW as Junior Software Engineers.
As a university graduate, you typically start your career at GTW as a Junior Consultant or Junior Software Engineer. Both HTL and university graduates are supported during their initial phase by an experienced mentor within our mentoring system. Through close coaching with a colleague, you benefit from extensive on-the-job training. Your mentor takes responsibility for your development and is available for questions and guidance. With continuous exchange of experience and knowledge transfer, every newcomer has the opportunity to learn from the best and build valuable expertise.
After this initial onboarding period – during which you gain project experience and get to know GTW’s clients – you will take on responsibility as a Consultant or Solution Architect for specific subprojects within your growing area of responsibility, which expands based on your individual performance.
If you join GTW as an experienced consultant with proven professional expertise, you can of course be classified directly as a Consultant or Solution Architect.
With increasing professional experience, your scope of responsibilities will expand step by step, leading to promotion as a Senior Consultant or Senior Solution Architect. At this level, your responsibilities range from managing large subprojects to leading entire projects with personnel responsibility. Senior Consultants also support client acquisition and contribute to the development of new employees.
As a Principal Consultant, you become actively involved in company and personnel management. In addition to broad personnel responsibility, this career level also includes independent client acquisition activities.
In the role of Partner, you work together with other partners to develop strategies and take full responsibility for new client acquisition. You also hold personnel and team leadership responsibilities and act as project lead in the implementation and realization of GTW projects.
