Our Team at the Vienna City Marathon
For us at GTW, the Vienna City Marathon is far more than just a sporting event – it has become a vital part of our company culture. Every year, we sponsor our team’s participation, bringing together colleagues from Austria, Germany, and sometimes even Switzerland to line up at the start in Vienna.
It’s not just about athletic performance – it’s about togetherness. Whether in the relay, the half marathon, or the full distance, everyone finds the challenge that suits them best. The result is a diverse team of running enthusiasts and colleagues who simply want to share a unique experience together.
The marathon brings us together year after year: we cheer each other on, motivate one another, and celebrate every finish – no matter the time. It’s about enduring together, sharing successes, and living true team spirit.
And because hard work deserves a good reward, we traditionally round off the day in a Viennese beer garden. Over good food, refreshing drinks, and plenty of conversation, we enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and reflect on the day’s experiences together.
