Efficiency over Chaos

IT service provider streamlines processes with SAP Public Cloud

The Starting Point

Our customer faced a major challenge. The IT service provider’s 19 locations were running on six different ERP systems – none of them connected or consistently structured. The result: inconsistent data structures and processes that created a fragmented system, making cross-location collaboration difficult.

In complex cases like this, migrating the systems to SAP required careful planning and coordination. Many business processes and use cases were undocumented and first had to be harmonized to establish a common foundation for a central system. On top of that, multiple business applications were covering similar process groups – creating a tangled landscape that ultimately undermined efficiency and transparency.

Our Solution

Together, we implemented SAP Public Cloud – a unified, cloud-based platform for the entire company. To achieve this, we migrated the existing ERP systems from each branch into the SAP landscape and consolidated them into a single central solution. At the same time, all previously undocumented business processes were systematically captured and standardized to create a clear and consistent process landscape

The Result

Thanks to SAP Public Cloud, our customer was able to sustainably optimize processes – while laying the foundation for innovative business models such as subscriptions. Another major advantage: the time-to-market for new products and services was significantly reduced. And with the intuitive user interface, employees across all branches quickly and easily adopted the system.

The platform now provides every location with access to contracts and consumption data, greatly increasing transparency and efficiency. Regular SAP updates ensure the company always benefits from the latest technology, while extensive process automation noticeably reduces administrative effort. The bottom line: with SAP Public Cloud, our customer has built a strong foundation for future growth and digital innovation.
